Went to church this morning. The father spoke some sparkling remarks again, 'We should try our best to make ourselves happy, which is an important issue in life. We should give thanks to our Father, parents, teachers and friends for their support throughout our life. In being gratified for what we have, we should say 'Thank you' to others at all times! This makes others happy and strengthen the intimacy and understanding between us!' Then, the Father shared a story with us. There's a boy suffering from brain cancer and he's at his critical stage. He wanna meet the bishop and in July and he really met him. The bishop blessed him and three months later, the brain cancer which had been weakening his health HAD GONE! Miracle!

Nice, isn't it?

Sorry for not updating my xanga for nearly a week. I've been quite busy these days..sorry!

That's something that happened to me for this week.

I) On Monday, I went to have lunch with my colleague at KFC. Suddenly, an Indonesian man approached us and said, 'I need some help!' Then, he handed me a lot of forms and asked me to fill it for him. I came to learn that these were forms needed for his registration for his company. He didn't know Chinese but he was required to fill in Chinese! I was glad to help of course. When I asked him why didn't he ask the staff in that department to help him, he said, 'They said they couldn't fill in the form for us. They asked us to go somewhere and found someone to help us!' Sigh..how come there are still staff in the govt department who are so UNHELPFUL?

II) I was asked to go to the reclamation to work for this week. I needed to take photos there and waohhh..I had never expected that it was so dusty and windy in that area. After taking a few pictures, my shoes and my outfit were covered with dust!

III) On Friday, I did a presentation for my 'Women's Writing course' and my whole project sucks! The lecturer found problems in my work and I got to redo it! Luckily, I still got time to hand in another one.

IV) Tonight (Saturday), I went to the Cathedral with my mum and we listened to carols sung by the following schools: Yuet Wah College (eng sec) , Sacred Heart Cannosian Collegre (eng. sec), Santa Rosa de Lima (eng. sec-> my mother school) and the Portuguese school. The representatives of the Portuguese school were lovely primary kids. They were very very CUTE. Whereas the participants of the other three schools were high school students. They did a wonderful job and the whole ceremony was FABULOUS
